Aurora Mazzoldi is a painter and author. In her research, figures, gestures, gazes and symbolic settings become instruments for observing relationships, emotions and parts of ourselves that often remain hidden.
The titles of the works suggest a direction, yet do not exhaust the meaning of the painting: they invite the viewer to enter it with their own experience.
Since 2003 Aurora Mazzoldi has exhibited in Italy and abroad. Over time she has accompanied her painting with books, talks and podcasts devoted to Introspective Art.

The same search that runs through the paintings continues in her writing.
Aurora Mazzoldi has published books devoted to Introspective Art and narrative works in which relationships, emotions and the search for awareness become the substance of storytelling.
Among her most recent works is Credevo fosse amore (“I Thought It Was Love”), a narrative work in five connected stories, each in dialogue with a painting and with a different form love can take when it blurs into need, fear, control or loneliness.
